In its 16 years in existence, Rumos Itaú Cultural has supported the production of more than 1,000 artists and researchers from all regions of Brazil. With the revamping of the program, Itaú Cultural celebrates this new phase presenting once again 35 artists and groups selected by the visual arts, art and technology committees in the exhibition.

"KLAVIERWELLEN" (Piano Waves) was recorded on November 4th, 2010 in the
lagoons of Venice with a grand piano in an upside down position being
transported on a small boat. Two contact and two omnidirectional
microphones were positioned on the soundboard of the grand piano to
record the resonances of the strings, waves, motor, boats... the sounds
of the environment of the lagoons filtered by the piano's acoustic
The Sprengel Museum Hannover, the kestnergesellschaft and the Kunstverein Hannover together present an overview exhibition of the international, contemporary art scene in Germany under the title "Made in Germany Zwei".
The exhibition presents from 17 May to 19 August 2012 about 40 pathbreaking positions of a younger generation of international artists, who live and work in Germany. With this exhibition the three institutions of Hannover continue the successful show "Made in Germany" from the year 2007.
For "Made in Germany Zwei" the idea of "Made in Germany" was advanced by a team of curators of all three institutions: The exhibiton will be curated by all of the three institutions. Many of the artists developped new workings especially for "Made in Germany Zwei".

COMMA is a dynamic new series of commissions enabling artists to experiment and expand their practice in relation to Bloomberg SPACE and its communities. Forty of today’s most outstanding emerging and established international artists will be invited to create new work, installations and architectural interventions in a fast paced succession of exhibitions.
